READER'S COMMENT SECTION

Aliens invade Wonder Falls and interrupt Janusc and Priscilla on their first nite home from their honeymoon in their new house. Hense the comment about christening their new bed. As Priscilla says: "Interrupting our first nite home ... is just too, too rude." Thanks and tip of the hat to LMS for the suggestion. -- Robert Stradley, the Weekend Artist.

The tripods are adapted from multitudinous sources over the last 100 years, all depicting H.G.Well's War of the Worlds. The rockets are from my own drawings and story written in 1961. I was so ticked off at the Dig Allen, space explorer, story where they killed off an amiable alien, that I wrote my own sequel and illustrated it, rockets and all.
