READER'S COMMENT SECTION

The character of Double Dare is a mashup of the 1940's Dare Devil with Duplicate Man. The manacles are from Wonder Woman and the power whips from Iron Man. This Date from Heck is a reference to all those internet dates where one can call on a friend nearby when rescue is needed. -- Robert Stradley, the Weekend Artist.

Ampére demonstrates her power for the first time. Electro-shock is limited but highly effective. I had fun drawing and coloring the panel of Ampére, especially when adding the blue white sparks and kirbydots. Ampére's hair gets wild when she powers up, as if she were connected to an electrostatic Van de Graaf generator. -- Robert
